it's a good idea, however you are trading practicality for functionality, depending on the trade you work in, you will likely need to carry more than just a hammer so that means you are adding extra bulk and weight just to save 2.8 seconds to flip your hammer over, so this only works if the only tool you use excessively all day is a hammer, and if you use a hammer that much you'd be faster and more efficient with a framing nailer

brother i have adhd and i can't organize anything to save my life and i lose absolutely everything, not excluding things i carry with me everyday like smokes, lighter, keys, i lose my phone once a day at least and when i clean i make a a significantly bigger mess than what i started with, but i really like ur method of organizing and so far i've been able to stick with it and that's a rarity in itself. thank u for sharing this, it's simple and interesting enough to keep me focused, just slow enough for me to take it seriously

I'm making holes with a vintage push drill. I've never had a kick back doing this. I am careful and deliberate about pulling the wood straight back. Holding and pulling back on the long center screw makes it easy to bring the piece back without any turning.

Depending on the application plumb bobs can be put 1/2 - 2/3 in a container of oil on a windy day. Water can be used but the thicker oil will slow down any movement better.

I have been using a cover crop mixture (mostly rye) in my western Oregon garden and love the hummus it adds to the soil. When I'm ready to cut it down, I use a flail mower on my BCS. Then I till it in. In two weeks I'm ready to plant. Works well for me. Nice video!! Beautiful, neat garden you have.

I remember as a young lad helping my neighbor, an older farmer work on some machinery and he asked me to do all the looking up overhead work because he got nauseated when he did that type of work. I laughed and he said, "Don't laugh, you're going to get old one day too!" By golly, he was right! Sheet rocking ceilings, Crawling through tight spaces and working on my back...That is nauseating for me too.

This is one of the nicest comments I've ever gotten. Thank you. There is another UA-cam channel that I think is perfect for teaching your sons. It is one of my favorites and I learn something new from almost every episode. I've often thought that if my sons were still at home and homeschooling (that's what we did) I would assign episodes of ScoutCrafter for them to watch, or for us to watch together. The name is kind of misleading. Tools and shop how-to are the primary focus. Check it out if you have not already... www.youtube.com/@ScoutCrafter

Most of the year I'd need to add a humidifier to my crawlspace to get it up to 45% humidity. I only have crawlspace under the back addition which is similar in size to yours. Under the front addition is an inaccessible space and in between is a basement. I'm thinking I need to work on encapsulating the back crawlspace.
